I just built a new Windows 7 desktop machine. Does anyone know if I can just take the TV tuner card out of my old machine and install it in my new one, download the Giga Pocket program and use it on the new machine? Is it that simple? The tuner card was compatible with OEM on a Sony Vaio.

Usually, the hardware parts of laptops aren't compatible with desktop systems. These two types of computers don't have any compatibility features. However, if this isn't your case, the answer to your question is YES. You can remove the TV Tunner card from your old computer, add it to the new system and use it as you did until now. It's advised that you visit the manufacturer's website before you do this to check its compatibility with Windows 7.
